Turtle Whisperer

My brother-in-law Mac is incredibly smart. He is very handy and helps his parents around the house. He can build things with his hands and has many beautiful pieces of funiture he has made. But he also has a hidden talent. He is a turtle whisperer.

Mac and Billy Bones. He is talking to the turtle telling him that he won't let the dog get him.

See, Billy Bones is starting to be ok with this.

Yes, he is very happy about the fact that no one but Mac can whisper to the turtle and get a response. Billy Bones is kicking his legs because he is so happy that Mac is back to talk to.

Jayden wants to feed Billy Bones a snack but Mac has to make sure it is ok first.

You don't like everyone crowding around you? It is ok.....

I am here and won't let anyone bother you.

Yep, that is one happy turtle and one happy guy.

Unfortunately, he is raising a junior turtle whisperer. I will never hear the end of this.

Salem Community Easter Egg Hunt

Thanks to all of the hard working people who put together the 3rd Annual Salem Community Easter Egg Hunt. Special thanks to Melissa who was obviously more prepared than I was and brought her camera and took photos of Syd. We had a fabulous day and the weather was amazing. Both of my kids had a blast!

Heidi, Brian and Saquoia came. Also, Kendon, Lisa, Sirri, Connor and Meg came. It was fun to have our close family there. Aunt Wylene had her grandkids there so we had Cody's kids and Tamara's kids also participate. What a great tradition.

Easter is my favorite holiday so when the weather is good, it is especially great!
